Patient Guide

Office visits are scheduled by appointment only through contacting the provider’s office.  You will receive a confirmation call prior to your appointment.  New patient visits last approximately 30 minutes.  Please allow ample time to accommodate registration process.

The Immediate Care Center is a walk-in clinic open 7 days a week.

If you are seeking non-urgent medical attention after hours, we encourage you to visit our Immediate Care Center.   The Immediate Care Center offers extended hours 7 days a week with laboratory and x-ray services available. Your primary care physician will be notified of your visit on the next business day.  In a life-threating situation, please call 911.

Owensboro Medical Practice participates with most major insurance networks and managed care organization. Our experienced staff will gladly assist you throughout the insurance filing process.  You may also contact your employee benefit counselor or your health insurance carrier with specific concerns.

Patients are responsible for payment of all copays, co-insurance and deductibles at the time of service. If your claim is denied by insurance, you are responsible for the payment of balance within 30 days.

  • Our office staff will contact you to confirm your appointment. We recommend that you provide a picture ID (driver’s license) and insurance card and current list of all medications.
  • Please allow ample time for registration process.
  • To expedite the process you are encouraged to follow the links under Patient Forms. You may fill the forms online and print and bring those with you.
